Free Email Consultation for Running to 180 bpm Music

I want to help you enjoy running more. I love running for the sake of it. It makes me feel mentally clearer, more resilient, and more comfortable in my body. It doesn’t have to be about speed or distance. You’ll be more likely to keep it up if you genuinely like running and are not in pain while doing it. Being consistent and wanting to run in the long term, that is where the true benefits reside. If you run well and you want to, the speed and distance will follow.

Every run doesn’t need a musical soundtrack. It’s important to be able to just run, listen to your surroundings and be present. This is especially true if you are running with a group or in a race setting.

That said, when it’s an ordinary day and you need to push your body out the door, music can really help. A consistent beat (especially if it’s around 180 bpm) can help your body to be more efficient and good lyrics can keep your mind and emotions going longer and stronger. Once you have songs that really resonate with you, they can be drawn on without your headphones/music. They’re always with you.

I’d love to be part of your journey as a musician, but if you’re struggling with it, I can also help you as a coach. I am a certified running coach through RRCA. I’ve been NASM and ACE certified as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in the past. Plus, I’m a total nerd about all of this stuff (see the content of this website as evidence.)

Recently, I was included in Christopher McDougall’s Born to Run 2: The Ultimate Training Guide in the chapter called, “Running with Music.” That book along with the original Born to Run and Eric Orton's (the "Born to Run Coach") Cool Impossible are very in line with my basic philosophies about the joys or running.

Let me put together a custom running playlist for you incorporating your favorite artists and catering to your running goals.

Or contact me to chat about running with music or running to180 bpm, really, no commitment required. I’m interested in hearing from runners about what they struggle with and what’s helping them; it could inspire a new song.
